Why are hood holders safer then halters?
Halters are made strong so they do not break under pressure. If the horse gets caught on a fence/gate or their own hoof, a halter will not break and the horse will panic and dangerously pull back and possibly hurt themselves. My hood holders will give under the pressure of a pull back. Either the velco or the stitching will let go. While being strong enough for day to day wearing. Hood holders also fit closer to the horses face which helps prevent them snagging themselves on something in the first place 😊.
